YOUNG NICHOLAS BROS. DVD
$15.00
"ONE OF A KIND - THE YOUNG NICHOLAS BROTHERS - A tribute to the Nicholas Brothers in the form of clips of three of their most popular vaudeville numbers - ""Lucky Numbers"", "Fayard's Time Step Routine"" and ""The Nicholas Brothers Shim Sham"" - presented in both real time and slow motion. Katherine Hopkins Nicholas - Fayard's wife wanted to preserve their early work and present the material in slow motion as these routines are rarely taught, due to the fast footwork, incredible steps and original style. This was before they used acrobatics in their act. Wonderful history to view or duplicate...Enjoy this very special DVD!!! A note from Ginger Roberts - ""WOW...I am honored to add this DVD to my tap library. Thank you and thank Katherine Nicholas for sharing this very important tap history. My husband and I sat here with dropped jaws, watching the performances!"

The Classic B.S. Chorus!!!
$30.00
"RUSTY FRANK adds another great DVD from her ""Tapping With The Masters"" Series. The ""B.S. CHORUS"" is a classic tap dance routine known to date back to the early 1930's or even earlier. It is a basic one chorus dance comprised of four steps and a repeating break. Anyone who can already do a basic Time Step and Shuffle will find this dance a pure joy. For dancers of all ages!!! (Note: In the years of Vaudeville, there was a common formula for constructing a tap dance and it was called ""three and a break"". You would do one step three times and then a break - usually some form of time step would be first, in order to set the tempo for the band. The steps could be re-arranged and repeated, using simple staging changes to make a two chorus dance, sometimes using a flash ending.)"
